Fantastic midweek show at the State Room. I was somewhat expecting a typical comeback show from a 90's alt-rock band - washed out if not washed up - but I was mistaken: The show was really entertaining. I forgot how much I like Brad Roberts' odd poetic lyrics. His bass-baritone voice was slightly less powerful than in their heyday but still strong and weirdly haunting, yet comedic at times. Ellen Reid is the perfect wing-woman and her contributions, both backing and lead, were also superb. The band was a mix of original, near original, and new musicians - all contributed beautifully. See them if you have the opportunity.

Perfect Evening!!

I wish I could have given more than 5 stars! This concert was absolutely fabulous from the opening act, Carleton Stone, to the amazing experience of listening to the INCREDIBLE voices and music of the Crash Test Dummies. It was the perfect blend of Holiday tunes and their timeless classic hits. Regent was a great venue for this concert, the sound and lights were fantastic….as was being able to take beverages to our seats! For sure a very heartwarming evening!♥️

Absolutely an awesome concert!

The show was really a joy to attend. The performance was outstanding by all members of the band. Was well worth the wait after near 2 years delay due to Covid. Had the pleasure to chat with the drummer Mitch Dorge for near a half hour. He was very pleasant and giving of so much info about the bands and it's outstanding history. Hope to see them again sometime. See them if they are in your area - You won't be disappointed!

We waited close to 2 years due to Corvid delays, but it was well worth it. Any seat was great - But we managed to find awesome close vacant seats because I assume many of the original ticket purchasers simply could not make the changed concert dates. They were tight and on the mark as well as adding some really fun variations. A real highlight was meeting Mitch Dorge in person who was wandering amongst the crowd after the show. He was especially forthcoming and friendly and shared allot of interesting info about the CTD. We can't wait till the next time they come by to Dallas!

We waited over 2 years to see them due to Covid delays, but it was well worth the wait! The band was just great, even better than the lps in my opinion. Even the songs that were new to me were fantastic. They covered most of the songs on the 1st two albums with some nice variations. Considering that we had standing room tickets, we managed to slip into unused seats in the front, vacant most likely because the original ticket holders could not make it due to the several date changes of the concert.
