Art for art's sake

(money for God's sake) The only thing wrong with this show was that more people weren't in attendance to enjoy it. Graham Gouldman and his mates put on a show that was as charming as it was tight. Having never seen the original lineup I can't compare with the current band but boy did those songs (all the hits plus the most loved deep cuts) sound good even at 50+ years old. If this show comes your way, don't miss your chance to see these legends of art-pop.

Fine musicians and very entertaining!

This concert exceeded my expectations. I was in row four with no one in front of me, which made me sad that people missed out on such an amazing show. Their voices, the tight band, the amazing guitar playing, all of it was fabulous. They played the hits from the 70s and Graham played a song off his latest album. It was wonderful. I'm glad I drove 4 hours from Morro Bay, CA to see this! Great talent & wonderful venue. Thank you!!

Superb Night in Nashville

Brooklyn Bowl fans got a treat as the bsbd rocked mightily from Second Sitting opener through the final jam on Rubber Bullets. Graham was in great form and Paul Fenn highlighted many of the songs with his tasty guitar licks. The highlight was Feel The Benefit, all 15 minutes played fabulously. Except for a bit of mike trouble on the first bars of " I'm not in Love" the sound was superb . Dreadlock Holiday ended the main set with the crowd singing loudly ..An acapella Donna was fun and then they jammed furiously on Rubber Bullets to end it. Robin Taylor Zander opened with a great set of his own songs , a nifty cover of "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young and of course ended with his Dad's Cheap Trick smash " I Want You To Want Me". All in all a fantastic musical evening in a great venue

Excellent concert that displayed the awesome songwriting talents of Gouldman, Stewart, Godley, and Crème. Imagine the intense creativity and competitive energy that permeated that band. They had/have a distinct sound with great vocals, harmony, clever lyrics , and a mastery of their instruments. Great stage presence, impeccably arranged songs infused with humor. Their sound is their own but often channels shades of The Beatles, The Beach Boys, ELO, and Squeeze. Their set included chestnuts such as "I'm not in Love", "Mandy, Fly Me", "Art for Art's Sake", "Rubber Bullets", "Life is a Minnestroni". Graham Goldman aptly demonstrated why the band 's appeal is timeless. Andy Park has an incredible voice and

I’ve been a 10cc fan forever. I never has a chance to see them until the other night at the Welmont. I always would wonder how they could pull of their songs live, well they do with amazing musicianship. From the opening chord of The Second Sitting for the Last Supper to thr final notes of Rubber Bullets.

The lads were absolutely ON POINT for this tour opener! All the classics were done with plenty of scintillating guitar solos from Rick Fenn. Bass lines, vocals, percussion (lots of cow bell on Dreadlock Holiday!). The acapella bonus at the end showcased the breadth of talent by this current lineup! A great concert! Would see them again in a heartbeat!
