Country rocker Steve Earle is back on the road

Country rock legend Steve Earle isn't afraid to say what he thinks when it comes to political and social issues. His music is imbued with this outspoken outlook and his lyrics have often been deemed controversial, but there is also a confessional side to his writing that plants it firmly in the genre of country - he's known a great deal of heartbreak and struggle in his time. But this gentleman troubadour isn't lying down and taking it, he's still singing the blues, still touring and still releasing new music.

Earle is hitting the road with his band the Dukes! A rousing compilation of bar-stomping, bayou-tinged blues in his fearlessly innovative style, calling to mind blues heroes Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Johnson and Lightnin' Hopkins.
